What we collect

To create an account, we collect your name, email, and age. Adding a zip code lets us show you nearby groups; adding a ward or stake is optional and self-reported. If you're under 18, you can add a parent or guardian's phone number as safety contact information. The app does not automatically message guardians or replace direct parental communication.

Beyond that, we only store what you choose to add: interests, an avatar, group memberships, chat messages you send in a group, and event RSVPs.

Who can see your information

Your name is visible to coordinators and fellow members of groups you join. A group's general area (city/state) is visible to anyone browsing — but the exact meeting address for a group or event is only shown once you're an approved member or coordinator, never to the public or to people who haven't joined yet.

Groups marked "Invite Only" don't appear in public browsing at all. Groups marked "Request to Join" are discoverable, but joining still requires a coordinator's approval.

Anonymous usage analytics

We use Google Analytics by default to understand general traffic, which pages people use, and where the app experience can be improved. We do not send Google your name, email, messages, profile details, exact location, or group identifiers. Dynamic page addresses are generalized before they are measured, and Google Analytics advertising and personalization features stay disabled.

Google may process limited browser, device, network, and usage information for this purpose under its own terms. We honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track browser signals, and browser privacy tools or content blockers may also prevent analytics from loading.

Notifications

We send notifications for things like join requests, event changes, and new chat messages. Everything always shows up in your in-app Inbox; you control which categories also send a push notification to your device in Account Settings.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers. Outside services are limited to operating the app—for example, authentication, email and push delivery, zip code and address lookups, hosting, and anonymous usage analytics. We do not use Google Analytics advertising or personalization features.

Your choices

You can update or remove most of your information anytime in Account Settings. To delete your account entirely, contact a coordinator or reach out to us directly.
